4tell™ Partners with Faithful+Gould to Provide Strategic Facility Consulting for Deer Valley Airport

Portland, ME, January 22, 2010– 4tell™ Solutions, LLC, (“4tell™”) announced today that it has partnered with Faithful+Gould to support the delivery of their strategic facility consulting (SFC) services for Deer Valley Airport in Phoenix, AZ. Faithful+Gould, a U.S. based construction consulting and program management firm, delivered iPlan™, 4tell’s Sustainable Performance Governance Solution, as an integral component of the project. As part of its new, dynamic SFC service offering, Faithful+Gould used iPlan to plan, capture and analyze information as it performed a facility condition assessment, which included the evaluation of the physical conditions of the building components and systems, observation and interpretation of those systems’ performance and comparison of the existing systems and their conditions in relation to the current building codes.

In conjunction with the SFC project, Faithful + Gould used iPlan as the central repository for the inventory and condition information they collected about major mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire and conveyance systems. The detailed inventory also included the capture of manufacturer, model and serial number information of pertinent equipment.

“The efficiency that iPlan brings to strategic facility consulting is that it provides a comprehensive framework for organizations to structure their business initiatives directly in-line with operational goals,” said Faithful+Gould Operations Director Ben Dutton. Deer Valley Airport, operated by the Facilities and Services Division at Sky Harbor International Airport, is one of the busiest non-commercial airports in the world. Its 914 acres house more than 1,250 aircraft and offer a complete range of services, including fueling, aircraft sales and rentals, maintenance and flight training. The airport’s portfolio of properties encompasses the terminal building, private aircraft hangers, vehicle and aircraft repair buildings and workshops, totaling 75,000 square feet.

Comprised of five customizable components delivered through iPlan, Faithful+Gould’s SFC service provides condition assessments, energy and environmental analysis, security and compliance audits, life cycle planning and sustainability consulting. Both public and private organizations benefit from this service by being able to proactively capture, manage and analyze raw property and operating data in a live, dynamic environment that changes just as facilities naturally do. With this ability to manage deficiencies and corrective actions, expected building component life cycles and replacement dates, projects and allocated funding, building owners can proactively prioritize, and manage a budget and schedule based on physical, environmental, business and social priorities.
