Sustainable Facility Governance is emerging as a core business goal of
leading organizations, both public and private. This important movement is in
large part driven by the critical importance of incorporating a “green” mindset
throughout the operations of an enterprise. More and more, today’s global
community is recognizing that successful management of facility asset portfolios
requires processes and systems which support sustainability through the
optimization of capital expenditures, improved lifecycle and maintenance
decisions, enhanced energy efficiency and management, reduced emissions, and
improved facility security with the capacity to provide timely
stakeholder-responsive performance reporting.
“As we increasingly have a shared responsibility with our clients for the
stewardship of their facility portfolios, and the related economic,
environmental, energy and societal impacts resulting from their operation during
their lifecycle, it is critical that we deliver our solutions in a manner that
supports sustainable facility governance, while at the same time optimizes
performance and return on investment”, said Jim Kavanagh, President of HCI, “HCI
provides real value for its clients through improved business processes and
operating efficiencies”.
