Board of Managers

Blaine Buck is a member of 4tell™’s Board of Managers. He is a licensed architect and professional engineer as well as a certified project management professional with diverse experience in consulting, planning, design, facilities management, and program and project management in the building industry. Mr. Buck has delivered projects globally with total development cost of over $1 billion dollars.  Mr. Buck, whose career spans more than twenty years, has held senior, technically oriented, executive management positions.  Since 2005, he has led Buck Consulting Group and is responsible for directing all aspects of strategic analysis and advice, especially for complex programs and portfolio level activity. Prior to being a founding member of Buck Consulting Group, Mr. Buck was an Executive Vice President with MBNA America – the largest independent credit card company in the world – and he has held several management positions over a ten-year period with his last assignment as Director of International Design & Development.  Mr. Buck was responsible for all facets of real estate development on a global basis.  Mr. Buck is retired from the Army National Guard after twenty years of service attaining the rank of major.

 

 

Navroze Eduljee is a member of 4tells™’s Board of Managers.  He is an executive level technology professional with experience in setting technology strategic direction, policy and governance. He brings over twenty-two years of proven expertise, leading and delivering complex technology initiatives as well as managing large operational and analytic technology groups. Navroze is a former Senior Vice President of Bank of America. Most recently, he was Bank of America’s Director of Business Performance Management for the Consumer and Small Business Credit Card Division. In this role he was responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive and dynamic business intelligence strategy in support of financial, marketing and operational decision making for the $180 billion dollar credit card portfolio. Prior to that, he was the Executive Vice President and Director of Database Marketing Operations for MBNA America responsible for creating and implementing an information management strategy for the bank. Navroze graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Bombay, India. He earned a master’s degree in computer science and business administration from Temple University.

 

Frank McKelvey is a member of 4tell™’s Board of Managers and a former Vice Chairman of MBNA America (Bank of America). In his twenty-two years with the world’s largest independent credit card issuer he held numerous management positions in Marketing, Sales, Operations, Administration and Strategic Planning. Frank most recently had responsibility for MBNA’s largest co-branded sector ($12 billion in loans) including partners such as the NFL, Major League Baseball, NASCAR, L.L. Bean, and AAA. He previously managed new growth businesses such as Small Business Lending, Aircraft Lending, and Dental Practice Finance and served on the board of MBNA Delaware Bank, the MBNA subsidiary responsible for all non-consumer credit card lending. Frank was the executive responsible for leading the company’s start up activities in both Canada and Ireland and had also overseen MBNA’s six regional business development offices in the United States. At various times he headed up the Bank’s Personnel, Deposits, Customer Satisfaction, Retention and Loan Quality Divisions.

 

Shane Flynn is a member of 4tell™’s Board of Managers and former Chief Executive Officer of MBNA Europe. In his seventeen years with MBNA, he served in a broad spectrum of roles encompassing all aspects of marketing, sales, operations and administration activities. Shane oversaw the development of MBNA’s regional strategy and as chief executive officer of MBNA Marketing Systems (7,000 people) had direct responsibilities for all regional sales and group relationship management. He was responsible for MBNA’s significant and wide-spread telemarketing activities. He oversaw business development activities including sales and other acquisition activities with many of MBNA’s largest and most profitable endorsing organizations. Shane also managed corporate-wide loss prevention. In this period MBNA’s credit losses were reduced in each successive month from a corporate high to significantly lower level. As Chief Executive of MBNA Europe (6,000+ people), he had full responsibility for all activities in U.K., Ireland and Spain. During his two years tenure at MBNA’s Europe, Shane oversaw a company highlighted by doubling of company profitability from year end 2004 to 2005.

 

Michael Diamond is a member of 4tell™’s Board of Managers and comes to the company with twenty-five years of experience in the technology world, having been President and CEO of Minicom Data Corporation, one of Canada’s earliest and fastest growing vertical market software companies until its sale in 1995.  Since that time, Michael has been heavily involved in a series of investments, and as a management consultant, primarily in the technology sector.  He is also a Director of Whitecastle Investments Limited of Toronto, a private investment firm, as well as of Solidifi Inc., and on the Board of Advisors of several other technology firms.   A lawyer, former teacher and graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business, Michael also invests considerable time in the non-profit sector, and is currently Chair and/or Director of a number of national and international non-profit organizations.

 

Jim Kavanagh is the President and CEO of 4tell™.  He is an innovative and entrepreneurial executive with vast experience in the real estate and facilities industries across multiple disciplines including strategic planning, development, management, operations, sustainability, capital investment and energy and environmental performance. For over twenty years he has served the needs of both public and private sector clients throughout a variety of markets including corporate, government, education, hospitality, utilities and non-profits. Jim’s expertise includes business planning & development, real estate development, strategic facility planning, portfolio management, project management, capital planning & budgeting, business process improvement, and the design, development and implementation of proprietary technology to support these various business initiatives. As a thought-leader in the industry, Jim helps his clients to foster stewardship of their assets, through the consideration of relevant social, economic, environmental and energy factors, to achieve sustainable facility governance for the benefit of their stakeholders.  He has directed numerous large-scale implementations of strategic asset management solutions for organizations that understand the need to effectively control, maintain & preserve their investments and fixed assets. Jim founded an award-winning technology company which became a national leader in facility planning and strategic asset management solutions which was subsequently acquired by Maricor Technologies, a subsidiary of Maine and Maritimes Corporation (AMEX: MAM), where Jim served as its Chief Marketing Officer.  In April 2007 Jim led the reacquisition of the business from MAM, and then subsequently formed the partnership with Cordjia to best position the company for long-term growth and prosperity.  The business was rebranded as 4tell™ Solutions, LLC in June 2008.

 

Tom Laurita is the Chief Operating Officer of 4tell™.  He is an entrepreneur with over twenty-five years domestic and international experience focused on the formation and growth of companies across a wide spectrum of industries.  In the US he has founded or co-founded and managed successful companies in the hedge fund, financial services, manufacturing, and high-end luxury fields.  In Russia and Europe he has created and run firms specialized in technology, construction, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, international trading, and agriculture, and while living abroad for seventeen years conducted business in three languages.    He was chief of Monsanto’s operations in the USSR for two years and is considered an expert in business and economic relations with Russia.  Tom holds an undergraduate degree from Brown University magna cum laude, a MPPM degree in management from Yale University, and is the first American citizen to receive a PhD from the Russian People’s Friendship University in Moscow, in International Economics.
